Gisele Engelbrecht graduated with a BA LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1987.

After heading up the Legal Department at a short-term insurance company in Johannesburg for ten years, she completed a post graduate diploma in Labour Law at the University of Johannesburg.

Shortly afterwards, and realising the need for Labour Law and employment consulting services to small to medium sized businesses, she started consulting to various businesses in Gauteng.

Sarah Engelbrecht studied at the University of Witwatersrand, completing a BA degree 2in Law and Politics in 2018 and going on to complete her LLB degree in 2023.

Having worked on a part time basis at GE Labour Solutions for the duration of her post graduate degree and having developed a keen interest in Labour Law she joined GELS on a full-time basis in 2024.

At the beginning of 2025 she completed a specialized course in Labour Relations through the University of Cape Town.

She has a keen interest in Human Rights issues having focused on this during her undergraduate studies.
